A fun, fast-moving adventure with plenty to say about courage, friendship, and responsibility.
At the same time, the story itself is full of magic and as much excitement as a James Bond thriller.
The book was indeed a delight to read! The narrative was enthralling and captured my interest from the beginning.
This is a fast-paced and powerful mystery / fantasy / end-of-world story that will have young readers engrossed to the very end.
This is an enjoyable read that’s tightly written, moves briskly, and is tons of fun!
Confident, middle-grade fantasy fans who appreciate plenty of gadget action will be entertained by this first Wayfinder Girls novel.
We think girls rock. At Wayfinder Girls we encourage and support girls to be leaders, in their personal lives and in the community. Being a Wayfinder Girl means believing in yourself and in the power you have to make a positive change in the world. Being a Wayfinder Girl means blazing a path for others to follow. And when times are dark, it means lighting the way. Lighting the way to hope, lighting the way to life!
Our programmes are for ages from 7 to 17+. Each programme is designed to meet the needs of the particular age group of girls and involve fun activities as well as stimulating challenges!
There are six regional centres, with Dux Manor also functioning as our worldwide headquarters.

We've shared some inspiration and ideas from some of the activities we have been involved with and life lessons we've learnt
Then we recommend you have a look at Girl Guides / Girl Scouts - they are the largest voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women in the world and they are awesome. With cool programmes, camps and activities for girls of all ages, there is none better! https://www.wagggs.org/en/
At Wayfinder Girls we believe all girls have been created with incredible potential. If we existed, we'd help girls understand their importance in shaping the world in which we live. Every single girl has dignity, strength and worth. Our fictional programmes exist to empower girls all around the world, no matter who they are or where they live!
